THE CASE
Community Conference is an annual conference on how to create and sustain communities, how to make participation happen, and how to make businesses and organizations understand how to utilize and nurture communities in order to become more social and, essentially, become a better business too.

Each year the conference gather some of the most interesting people from across the world such as David Armano, Bill Johnston, Rachel Happe, Jake Mckee, Peter Kim, Jeremiah Owyang as well as global brands like The Huffington Post, Ben & Jerry's, MAERSK, Spotify, American Express, CNN, LEGO, Tradeshift, DELL, Good Magazine, SAS, KLM and many more.

MY ROLE
In 2012 and 2013, I was the project assistant, and in 2014 I advanced to work full time as the project lead for Community Conference with the overall responsibility for the program, speakers, venue, speakers dinner, website, social media channels, content creation, participant care, marketing, sponsors and budget. With a budget just shy of half a million DKK, this has been the biggest project I've have been responsible for.

Some of the key learnings for me was facilitating such a big project, e.g. making project plans and how to conceptualize an event. The many preparations and then the big culmination in one day can really get me adrenalin rushing - I love it!
